Supporting families in everyday life and in exceptional situations - this goal is a particular focus of the town of Olsberg. A family-friendly town is a lively town, a town with a future. The town of Olsberg wants to offer families the best possible support in all situations. This is why the "Olsberg Family Office" was set up back in 2010.
The family office is the contact point for all questions relating to families. Whether childcare, parental allowance/parental leave, leisure activities and support for children, returning to work, social security in the event of separation, financial support options: the family office is on hand with help and advice on these and many other topics.
In an initial meeting, the concerns are discussed and possible solutions are worked out and presented. If necessary, the contact details of counselling centres or other relevant agencies are provided. The families then receive more detailed information there.
In addition to providing advice, the Family Office initiates and supports intergenerational projects and regularly organises courses/workshops and lectures on current topics.
Good ideas and suggestions on the subject of family/generations are always welcome.
