Granting of assistance for living expenses (social assistance) or basic security in old age and in the event of permanent reduction in earning capacity.

- The applicant is registered in Olsberg and/or resides in Olsberg.
- The income / assets are less than the need.
Special features
- Social assistance is to be granted from the day on which the social assistance provider becomes aware that a claim could exist.
- The granting of basic security benefits requires a corresponding application. Application forms can be obtained from the relevant contact person
Necessary documents
- identity card
- Power of attorney (if applying on behalf of a third party)
- Name, date of birth and address of dependants (parents, children)
- Severely disabled person's pass or assessment notice
- Tenancy agreement and rent certificate
- Year-end statement regarding heating and ancillary costs
- Bank details
- Proof of assets (savings books, property purchase contracts, land register extracts, mortgage lending certificates, vehicle licence)
- Proof of income (pension statement, wage statement, housing benefit statement)
- Documents on any deductible expenses: Proof of insurance contributions to be paid, trade union dues, travel costs to the place of work, special financial burdens or obligations
