As a homeowner, you can conveniently change your waste bins online.
If you are unable to use the citizen service portal, you can also register changes to waste bins by telephone, by e-mail to buergerservice@olsberg.de or in person at the Olsberg citizen service centre.
Notes on changing your waste bins
Every property owner has the option of changing the volume of waste bins provided. Please take the following information into account when placing your order:
- It is possible to change bins from "small to large" at any time.
- A change from "large to small" can only be made on 01.01. or 01.07. of a year.
- In justified exceptional cases (new building, unoccupied property, change of owner or tenant), a change can also be requested on the first of the following month
Size of the residual waste bin
The size of the residual waste bin must not be less than 20 litres per month per registered person.
Example: In a 6-person household, you must provide at least one 120 litre bin for residual waste. In this case, it is not possible to order an 80 litre bin.
Nappy bin/care bin
If there is a higher volume of disposable nappies, a "nappy bin/care bin" (120 litres) can be provided. The maximum period of use for nappy bins for small children is three years.
